Christian M. Carothers age 66 of Canton, passed away Saturday, October 16th, 2021. Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, he was preceded in death by his mother Margaret (Rapp) Carothers. Chris grew up in Cadiz, Ohio and was an avid musician who loved playing the drums. He was a member of COGWA (Church of God, A Worldwide Association). Chris was a spiritual man who loved God's way of life. The past 15 years he worked for Utility Pipeline as a Field Tech, and he loved his job.

Chris is survived by his wife of 36 years, Margie (Shimek) Carothers; children Jessica (Levi) Ramsey and Jacob "Jake" Carothers; grandsons Kaden, Sam, and Aza Ramsey; father Bennie "BJ" Carothers; brothers Jack (Pat) Carothers, and Bob (Debbie) Carothers; sister Sharon (Jon) Fleagane; and several nieces and nephews. Respecting Chris' wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will plan a Celebration of Life for a later date. Please check back for further updates.
