Christie Ann Roland, age 57 of Canton, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from complications associated with Type 1 Diabetes for which she was diagnosed at 16 months old. She was born in Canton on August 17, 1967. A graduate of Perry High School, she later received an associate's degree from the University of Akron. Christie worked as a nurse's aide in Stark County for 16 years where she was able to share her compassionate spirit.

Christie is survived by her parents William and Cynthia (Trace) Roland; sisters Julie Roland and Leslie Smith; brothers-in-law Daniel Leahy and Christopher Smith; nieces Lily Roland, Camille Smith, Sophia Smith, and Claire Leahy; nephew Eli Roland-Smith; and many extended family members and friends.
