Creekus-Wolf
December 8, 1957 – April 22, 2018
Christine Creekus-Wolf, 60, of North Canton, passed away surrounded with love on Sunday, April 22, 2018. She was born in Canton on December 8, 1957, and graduated from GlenOak High School in 1976. She studied nursing at The University of Akron, and later worked in several health specialties, including pediatrics, cardiology and dermatology. She loved people and enjoyed silly moments with them. She always had a sense of humor and welcomed any opportunity to have a good laugh or make a funny remark. Her children and grandchildren made her so proud. She loved spending time with them and celebrating their achievements and happy moments. Being a good Yiayia was so important to her, and she always wanted to do something special for the little ones. Despite her daily struggles, her family and friends will always admire her ongoing strength and courage; Her body may have been weak, but she was the strongest person they will ever know. She is greatly missed by so many people who loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Angeline Creekus. She is survived by her children, Stephanie (James) Sakel of Canton, Diana (Dennis) Leonard of Columbus, and Christopher Wolf of Broadview Heights, along with 3 grandchildren, Elizabeth, William and Lydia. She is also survived by her longtime companion, Michael Kalavity of North Canton, and her brother, Emanuel Creekus of Copley. The family would like to express its immense gratitude to all of the health professionals who positively impacted Christine's life during her courageous life-long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
