Christine M. May, 59, born March 8, 1966 to Neva (Maucieri) May and Kenneth L. May. She fought a very courageous and tedious battle with cancer. She was in High Spirits after receiving good news about her journey. She soon learned that her father's health declining and it became too much of an emotional strain for her and she accepted her heavenly wings on October 9, 2025.

Chris lived her life filled with passion and with such purpose and unwavering determination that she fiercely embraced every challenge thrown her way with everything she had. She did not like to be challenged or told she could not do something. She embraced that stubborn Italian side and dared anyone to stand in her way. Her famous quote was "IF THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A MAY!"

As a devoted mother, Chris nurtured a very close-knit family. She doted on her children, Jourdan May and Malik Hunley (Katiyn Lillie, fiancee') in which she instilled Love and devotion they were the center of her world. But her presence and unconditional Love will be missed by her six grandchildren; Jourdan May, Jr., Payton May, Hendrix May, Alora May, Ki'Sean Hunley and Keion Hunley.

Chris also leaves to cherish her memories and unconditional Love her longtime friends of 32 years, Sharon Jones and Christine Andrews. These two ladies were more than friends to her they were blood sisters.

Chris has shown us that the most beautiful things in life are not just things, its people, places, memories and pictures. The most beautiful things in life are feelings of Love, of memories, of moments, of smiles and laughter. These are the things she cherished the most.
