Christine M. Moore (Serena), age 61 of Louisville passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016. She was born in Canton on April 23, 1955 and graduated from Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in 1973. Chris retired from Mercy Medical Center in 2016 after 37 years of service as a Registered Nurse, where she passionately cared for her patients. Chris was an active member of The Basilica of Saint John the Baptist. She enjoyed reading, scrap-booking and traveling. Chris always had an upbeat and positive attitude, with a contagious laugh. She is preceded in death by her parents William and Nancy Serena. She is survived by her husband, Randall of 36 years; Aunt Mary (Ben) Battista; cousins Sandy Schumacher, James Battista, Robert Serena, Ronald Serena; extended family Domingo and Tonia Herraiz, Deborah Snyder, Domingo Herraiz and Paula Anker; mother-in-law Joanne Moore; sister-in-law's Margaret Shaffer and Brenda Garra; and brother-in-law's Roger Moore, Michael Moore and Brian Moore. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 14 ^th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services at 8 p.m., with the very Rev. Ronald M. Klingler. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mercy Medical Hospice.
