Christopher J. Emanuel, age 38 (b. July 23, 1979) earned his angel wings Monday, May 28, 2018. He was born on a stormy day to John (deceased) and Frances Emanuel, and brought sunshine to their lives. He loved his wife Susan Kelly with whom he lived in Long Island New York. Although faced with illness from a young age, he remained positive. A 1998 GlenOak High School graduate, he went on to graduate from the Culinary Institute of New York. Even when he became too ill to cook in a restaurant, he loved to cook for his family. In addition to cooking, Christopher loved the beach and collected shells. He gave back to Children's hospital by creating shell objects for their auction. In addition to his wife and mother, Chris will be missed by his sister Paula (John) Mincy (Hilliard), brother Lucas (Denise) Emanuel(Canton), nephew John Tyler Mincy and niece Alexandria Mincy. May his memory be eternal. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. in the church, with the Rev. Dr. Daniel Rogich officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
