CHRISTOPHER JAMES SILOVICH, age 54 of Hartville, passed away early Friday morning at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Canton to the late George and Rita (Dunne) Silovich, he was preceded in death by granddaughter Finley Rain Silovich and brother Timothy Silovich. Chris was employed with Executive Properties, Inc. for the last 15 years as the maintenance supervisor. He was a man who loved his family dearly, loved to fish with his sons and brothers, had a great sense of humor and, a heart of gold. He is survived by his wife of 15 years Cynthia Rae (Sheffler) Silovich, six children; David J.(Denise), Nicholas J. Silovich, Sara L. (Mike) Begue, Christopher M. (Tricia), Jessica R. and Megan M. Smeltzer, grandchildren Bryson Begue and Kaden Silovich, brothers and sisters; Michael (Nancy), Joseph, Michelle (Richard) Acheson, George, Mary (Paul) Anderson, Felicia (Karl) Fullerton, Donald and Matthew Silovich and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the funeral home with calling hours one hour prior to services, Rev. Fr. Edward Stafford officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Chris wanted everyone to know that cigarette smoking was what took his life.
