Christy A. (Rohrer) Spitale, age 74 of North Canton, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Canton to the late Elmer and Ruth (Pirolozzi) Rohrer, she was a 1968 graduate of Glenwood High School. Christy loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed floating in her pool, going to the beach and being on the sidelines of her grandkid's games. She was the definition of a Cleveland diehard, never missing an Indians or Cavs game. She spent her life taking care of those she loved; always there with a big hug and smile that would light up the room. She is survived by her husband of 44 years Jay Spitale, children Christy Villono, Julie (Del) McCallister, Jay (Jaclyn) Spitale, grandchildren Melina, Leo, Cayce, Carter, Aria, Caia, Colbie, brothers Russell, Dennis, and Jeffrey Rohrer. Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 22nd from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00 am, at St. Paul Catholic Church of North Canton. Interment will be in Northlawn Cemetery.
