CLARA JOSEPHINE RUFO. Clara "Josie" Rufo passed away peacefully on June 30, 2018. Josie was born on September 12, 1925 in Justus, Ohio to parents, Leroy and Lura Price. She married Robert J. Rufo on January 16, 1949, and they shared 49 years together, working, raising a family, traveling, and celebrating their grandchildren, until Robert's passing in 1998. In addition to her husband, Robert, Josie was preceded in death by her grandson, Robert J. Rufo, III. She is survived by her children, Gary (Susan) Rufo, Karen (John) Wittig, Greg (Ali) Rufo, and Robert Rufo, Jr. Josie leaves grandchildren, Kenneth (and wife, Christine) Andrea (and husband, Matt), John "JR" (and wife, GG), Jenna, Daniel, Jason, Adrienne, Matthew and Sara, and great-grandchildren, Lainie, Liam and Josephine. Josie will be remembered by Lynn Rufo, the mother of Daniel, Jason and Adrienne, and Cathy Rufo, the mother of Matthew, Sara and Robert, III. Josie will be remembered by all who knew her for her ready smile, her kindness and her love of a good conversation. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Josie's life and memory will be celebrated on THURSDAY at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Josie's name to Aultman Hospice and Palliative Care (2821 Woodlawn Ave NW, Canton, Ohio, 44708.
