Clementine (Powe) Phifer, age 98 of Alliance, Ohio, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 13, 2023. She was born in Buckatunna, Mississippi to the late Collie and Willa (Harris) Powe. She was also preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Phifer, daughter Kathy Phifer, son-in-law Albert Hogan, sisters Alpha Omega Clark, Willo Theresa Jones, Theda Tharp, Cozie Leverette, Nonjeana Ogletree, brothers Shellie Powe and Collie (CL) Powe. She was a member of Emmanuel Christian Center, loved reading the bible, praying, and loving all her family. Clementine is survived by her children Fred (Betty) Powe of Canton, Peggy Hogan of Alliance, Jack (Kate) Phifer of Aubrey, Texas, Wayne (Kay) Phifer of Canton, Ohio, Carmel (Alvin) Simpkins of Denver, Colorado, Karen (Abdu) Bennett of Newnan, Georgia, Rick (Vickie) Phifer of Columbus, Ohio, 21 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and sister Helen McCreary, and a host of nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 19th from 10 to 11am at the Rossi Family Funeral Home with services to follow at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
