Corina P. Halkias, age 89 of Canton, passed away Saturday morning at Roselane Nursing Home. Corina was born in Peloponnese, Greece on January 30, 1928 to the late Panos and Kostandina Ageroupoulos. She was a member of St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, the Silver Liners and the Philoptochos Society of the church. Corina enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter, sister Arxondo and stepmother Kriakoula Ageroupoulos.  She is survived by two daughters Diane (Joe) Foster of Canton,  Pam (Art) Smith of  TN; one son John Halkias of S.C.; four grandchildren April Mickey (fiance Rob Boudreau), Pete (Stacy) Mickey, Amanda  (Matt) McGuff and Adrianne (Dave) Harless; great grandchildren Brianna, Brian and Lucian. Also survived by brother Vasili (Maria) Ageroupoulos of Greece, and sister Yeorgia (Nick) Mellas of Arizona. Family and friends will be received Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rossi Family Funeral Home. Trisagion services will be at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, with  Rev. Fr. Nicholas Gamvas officiating. There will be one hour of calling hours prior to the services from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church.
