Cynthia A. Ackerman, age 67 of Canton, went home to be with the Lord early Monday morning. Cynthia was born in Canton on February 17, 1950 to the late John and Valia (Ricci) Barcich. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, and a 1968 graduate of Glenwood High School. Cynthia enjoyed gardening, was an avid bingo player, and also loved reading and studying her bible. In addition to her parents, Cynthia was preceded in death by her husband Larry. She is survived by her son Nick (Michele) Ackerman of Canton; brother Michael (Linda) Barcich of Canton; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law John (Sherry) Ackerman. Family and friends will be received Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Memorial services will begin at 8 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Floyd Stanfill officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Philomatheon Society of the Blind. Mom your vision here on earth was terrible, but now it is perfect in heaven with the Lord.
