Cynthia "Cindy" A. (Nohl) Giust, age 65 of Canton, passed away early Friday morning. Born in Canton to the late Robert and Dorothy (Bowman) Nohl, she was a 1970 graduate of Lehman High School. Cindy was the founder and past-president of Perry-Sippo Friends of the Library. She was a member of the Independent Order of Forresters, St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and the St. Michael Marriage Renewal Team. She worked as a schoolteacher in Gurnsey County then for the Stark County District Library, retiring in 2012. Cindy is survived by her husband of 38 years Larry Giust, children Robert Giust, Mandy Giust, brother Tom (Lynn) Nohl, sister Barbara (Jay) Simpson and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Don King as celebrant. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Cindy's name may be made to the National Organization for Rare Diseases (NORD), www.rarediseases.org.
