Cynthia R. Garcia (Mikstay) 52, passed away at the Cleveland Clinic, February 10, 2013 after her long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving and supportive family. Cindy was born on March 29 ^th 1960 and raised in Canton with her two sisters and one brother. Cindy was an employee of Aultman Hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for thirty years. Not only did she have the support of her family but from her friends in the unit that were like her family. She took great pleasure in her job, and in her free time had a love for make-up and fashion. She would attend Mary Kay meetings that would brighten her day and take her mind off of her fast pace life. Cindy had a huge heart and was the type of woman that could light up a room with her beautiful smile. She loved helping people and making them feel good about themselves. She was a very special woman and will truly be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her mother Dorothy (Karam) Mikstay in 1983, and leaves behind her husband Randall of 31 years; children Anthony and Desiree; she is also survived by her father Jim (Doris) Mikstay, siblings; Doreen (Rick) Smith, Ann (Craig) Godwin, Jimmy (Stacy) Mikstay II; her mother in-law Anne Garcia, and brother in laws Ray (Chris) Garcia, Richard (Joann) Garcia. Her step siblings; Debbie Muntean, Rick Reynolds, Lonnie Mikstay and nieces and nephews; Nicole, Calyssa, Amanda Smith, Angela and Jacob Godwin, Xavier and Brock Mikstay. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 5o to 8 pm and Thursday morning from 10 to 11 am at the Rossi Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 am in the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Brian Cline officiating. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society in Cynthia's name.
