Cynthia "Cindy" M. (Roman) Baker age 68 of Massillon, passed away Wednesday. Born in Canton to the late Edward and Nancy (Minocchi) Roman, she was a 1972 graduate of Glenwood High School. Cindy was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Little Flower Alter and Rosary Society, enjoyed repairing rosaries and was involved in craft shows around the county. She worked 16 years for Mercy Medical Center then the City of Canton Service Department for 5 years. Cindy is survived by her husband of 49 years Robert Baker, sons Steven and Geoffrey Baker both of Canton, Nick Baker and fiance Mandi of Rocky River, brother Kenny (Joan) Roman of Peachtree City, GA, and sister Susan Roman of Canton. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, 10:00 am, at Little Flower Catholic Church with Very Rev. Canon Christopher Henyk celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Cindy's name may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
