It is with deep sadness to announce that Darla Kay Mroczkowski, 78 of Canton, Ohio, passed away in her home surrounded by her family on Monday, March 10, 2025.

Darla is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Malvina Novosel and uncle Larry Fescke. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, John Robert Mroczkowski; her daughters Andrea (Studt) and Frank Kennedy of Avon, Ohio and Sonya Studt of Newman, Georgia; her step-sons John Robert and Dan Mroczkowski; along with eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Darla was a 1965 graduate of Lake High School. She was very active throughout her life with the Democratic Party and Soroptimist International. She retired from The Employment Source after 28 years.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and supporting them in their academic and athletic accomplishments. Darla and her husband loved to travel and experience new things. She got joy from having lunch with her many friends and cooking and hosting people in her home. She enjoyed being at the beach or on the water and loved a good lobster dinner.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home to celebrate her life on Thursday, March 13, 2025 between 4-7 p.m. A private family entombment will be held.
