Darlene Brugh, age 63 of Canton, passed away Friday. Born in Richmond, Virginia to the late Warren W. and India (Duncan) Brugh, she had been a Canton resident for the past 30 years. A retired Army veteran of 27 years, Darlene served in Desert Storm from 1990 to 1991 and Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. She was a member of the American Legion Post #44, Eagles Aerie #141 and the V.F. W. Darlene is survived by her husband of 17 years, Gary Cline; children Jessica Cowling of Canton, Justin (Nicole) Cowling of Malvern, Leamber Cowling of Canton, step-daughter Giovana Cline of Waynesburg; four grandchildren; Micha and Sierra Daniels, Hannah Gilmore, Gavin Davis; great-granddaughter Sybella Daniels; sisters Belinda (George) Harris of Richmond, VA, Renee Brugh, Janice Brugh-McCord both of San Antonio, TX, Marianne Brugh-Doley of Hutto, TX. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Services to follow at 10:30, with Pastor Henry Dettweiler officiating. Internment, with full military honors, will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Darlene's name, may be made to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Fund (ALS).
