Obituary

David J. Capobianco age 93 of Massillon, passed away early Wednesday morning. Born in Carnegie, PA to the late Battiste and Rose (Oliver) Capobianco, he was also preceded in death by his grandson David Michael Capobianco, brothers Matthew, William "Jay" Capobianco, sisters Louise Simile and Toni Bardine. David was the co-owner of A & D Foodarama for over 50 years. He was an Army veteran of WW II and a member of the Unique Club of Stark County. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Dorothy (Petroff) Capobianco, son David G. Capobianco, grandsons Brian Capobianco, Seth (Kelly) Capobianco, sister Jean (Donald) Haidys and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm and Monday from 12 noon to 1:00 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Monday at 1:00 pm with Rev. Fr. Edward Gretchko officiating. Internment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
