David D. DeMeo, Jr., age 60 of Canton, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Canton on December 12, 1957 to the late David, Sr. and Mary Lou DeMeo. David graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas in 1975, he then followed in his Grandfather, Dunk DeMeo's footsteps and worked as a foreman for the City of Canton for 37 years. He is survived by his loving wife Christine; daughter Lyndsey; and his beloved dog Franco. Also survived by sisters Lisa DeMeo-Lescallett (John) and Kristina DeMeo Casto; Godson and Nephew Paul Casto; mother-in-law MaryLee Sponseller; brother-in-law Michael Kark; niece Annie Kark; beloved and loyal friend Brian Stimer. Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at Christ the Servant Parish at 11 a.m., with Msgr. Gaetano as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
