David Edwin Lee Lewis of Akron, Ohio went home to be with the Lord February 10th, 2024. He never met a stranger and will be missed by many friends and family alike. David went to Glenoak High School. Where he ran track, boxed, and played football. He remained a lover of sports for life and was an avid cowboys fan. He had many hobbies but among his favorite was barbecuing, which was appreciated by many. David was a family man through and through, and spent his most cherished days with his children, grandchildren, niece's and nephews. A writer of music and poetry with a voice fit for motown his strong opinions in that billowy voice will forever be remembered. Save it for David Inc may be closed, but we ask that you always remember "Gangsters don't dance, we boogie."

David was proceeded in death by his Grandparents MacLean, McMullen and his brother Anthony MacLean and sister Arlinda Grega. He is survived by his wife Alicia Rennee Lewis, his sons David Trent Lewis ( Melissa Fitch) and James Lewis. Daughter Cierra Holt, grandchildren Davorae Lewis, Samari Sharpe, Davere Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Ravyn Lewis. Parents Brett and Brenda MacLean. Siblings; Kalyn, Cory (Renee), Kyle (Tara), Chelsea, Michael, Shaun, Latrice, Chaz, Ceyanna, Karen, Katrina, Lisa, Denise, Jessie, Melissa, Traci, Mandy, Elliot. Nieces and Nephews; Ilora, Kennedy (Kaylani) Ty,Cody, Matthew, Ava, Liam, Lucas, Aurora, Dominique (Ira, Iris), Michael, Donavin, Jaxon, Jalen, Lyndsee, Jeff and CJ.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 16th from 3-4pm at Rossi Family Funeral Home, 730 30th St NW, Canton, OH 44709.

Followed by a Celebration of Life from 5-7pm at the MBar, 5260 Dressler Rd NW, Canton, OH 44718.
