David M. Monnot, age 50, a resident of Plainfield, IL since 2007, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2022 at Edward Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on July 6, 1971 in Canton, OH. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Tonya (nee Van Buren); his daughter, Madeleine Monnot and his son, David Monnot III; his parents, David and Judith (Zirpolo) Monnot; his brother-in-law, Stuart (Suzie) Van Buren; his sisters, Noelle Heinze and Adrienne Zimmerman;; as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Stanley and Janet Van Buren. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, 10:30 am, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. The mass will be live-streamed at: www.stmichaelcanton.org\funeralservices. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
