Deanna Mae (Mylar) O'Donnell 76, of Canton passed away at Aultman Hospital on Saturday, September 20, 2014, after a short illness. She was born July 13, 1938 in Alliance and was a 1956 graduate of Sebring McKinley High School. After earning her LPN license at the Hanna Mullins School of Nursing, she obtained an associate degree in nursing (RN) from Walsh University. She practiced nursing first at Mercy Hospital and later at Massillon State Hospital. Her compassionate care made a significant difference in the life of her practice. Deanna was preceded in death by brothers Kenneth Myar and Daniel Mylar as well as sisters Dorothy (Mylar) Ray, Ellen (Mylar) Freshly, Shirley (Mylar) Georgiana, daughter LeeAnna (O'Donnell) Hughes and grandson Kevin Hughes. She is survived by Delm a r Zurbrugg, daughters Leslie (David) Grimm, Lora (William) Wyss and grandchildren Jeffrey (Kris) Hughes, Rebecca Wyss and Sarah Wyss. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 25 at Rossi Funeral Home at 7PM with Pastor Karin Himstedt officiating.
