(Notaro) Piatt
March 12, 1951 – February 23, 2015
Debra J. (Notaro) Piatt, age 63 of Canton, passed away in her sleep, Monday morning. A life resident of Canton and St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish, she was preceded in death by her father Joseph Notaro, husband Clyde and son Anthony Piatt. She was a 1969 graduate of Lincoln High School. She is survived by her mother Gina (Campanelli) Notaro, daughter and son-in-law Gina and Derek Wilson all of Canton, sisters and brothers-in-law Judy and Tim Rinella of Massillon, Kathy and Bob Momirov of Louisville, Lori Wasko of North Canton, brother and sister-in-law Sam and Judi Notaro of Canton and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Debbie worked for doctors, Dr Robert Packer, Dr James Kelling, Dr Randall Harris, Dr Alan Rudick, Dr Donald Decoy, Dr. Shakeel Bahadur, Dr. Vimala Rapaka, Dr. Vishal Sahney, and nurse practioner Amy Skabar, at Mercy Hospital of Canton, for the past 30 years. She loved and adored working for them. This group along with Dr. Jehad Asfoura and Dr. Mark Stachel, went above and beyond the call of duty, in regards to her care. She battled diabetes courageously for over fifty years. Debbie was blessed with an amazing family, group of friends, and work family. She touched many with her smile, her laughter, and her compassionate heart. Her courage and strength, led an example for others to follow. Her perseverance inspired many and she will be terribly missed by all who knew her. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Debbie's name may be made to St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish, 1530 11th St. SE, Canton, OH 44707.
