Dennis Varn, age 69 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was born in Canton on August 23, 1952 to the late Joseph and Lucy (Notturno) Varn. Dennis retired from Parksite Incorporated. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and the Unique Club; he also spent his free time golfing, playing cards, and shopping daily at Marc's. Along with his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister Josette Beddell, granddaughter Lily Jo, and father-in-law Dan Martino. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Jo; children Dan Varn of Mansfield, and Jacquie (Brian) Crescenzo of Wadsworth; grandchildren Grady and Lyla. Also survived by his brothers Donald (Cheryl) Varn of New York, and Ken (Johanna) Varn of Canton; and mother-in-law Arbie Martino. Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 3rd at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church at 12 noon, with Rev. Fr. Benson Okpara as celebrant. Procession to form at the church. Entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
