Diana Lynn (Rosati) Iacino of North Canton, OH, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, due to complications from Dementia and Parkinson. Diana was preceded in death by her parents Nicholas & Olga Rosati of Hermitage, PA and her father and mother-in-law Joseph & Mary Iacino of Farrell, PA. She is survived by her soul mate and devoted husband Joseph Phillip Iacino Jr, of 46 years, their children, Jena (Ryan) Grosschmidt and Joseph (Amanda) Iacino; beloved grandchildren, Mia & Carson; siblings Robert (Roni) Rosati; Cynthia (David) Reynolds & Mark (Lorie) Rosati; brother-in-law, Robert Iacino: sister-in-law, Angela Bucciarelli; aunts, Sandra Rosati & Marilyn Murray and her many cherished cousins, nieces & nephews.
Diana was born in Sharon, PA and raised in Farrell, PA, having graduated from Farrell High School. After such, she moved to Canton, OH where she started her family while working for Canton City Council. Diana thrived as a mother, enjoying raising her children, while working as a Dental Office Manager with Dr. Roni Sue Rosati, DDS for many years before starting a career with Canton City Schools. While with the school system, she obtained her Bachelor Degree in Education from Kent State University and proudly worked as an Office & Administrative Technology teacher at her children's almamater, McKinley High School, until her retirement in 2020. During her years as an educator, she made a positive impact on the lives of her students, winning numerous awards and accolades, including Teacher of the Year. During that time, she also dedicated numerous years to the success of the Stark County Teen Court Program, alongside her dear friend Susan Daniels. She enjoyed adventures in Mexico in Italy with loved ones and supporting her friends, family and students anyway she could. In retirement, Diana loved traveling to South Carolina, visiting with cousins in Spain, tending to her plants, gathering her family for delicious home cooked meals and being an active and loving part of homeschooling her granddaughter.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 8th from 10 -10:45 am at Christ the Servant Parish in Canton, OH. Funeral service by Monsignor Lewis Gaetano at 11:00am. Entombment following at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Diana's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Crossroads Hospice, Windsor Medical Center and the outstanding Memory Care Team at The Inn at Whitewood Village, for their excellent care and compassion.
