Diane J. Sams, age 64 of North Canton, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024. She was born in Canton on June 3, 1959 to the late Nunzio and Hildegard Gambone. Diane graduated from Louisville High School and after received her Associate's Degree from ETI Technical College, where she became an instructor. She later was employed by the Timken Company, where she worked as a Draftsman. Diane was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish at St. Anthony Campus.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sams, sister-in-law, Patricia Sams, and brother-in-law, Jim Sams. She is survived by her children, Kristopher (Christina) Sams, Lance (Emilee) Sams, Alicia Sams, Nicholas Sams (Rayna Funk), and Dustin Sams (Kayla Reyes); five grandchildren Dylan, Connor, Natalie, Jaxon, and Riley. Also survived by her brother Jeff (Kathy) and niece, Emily Gambone, niece Rhiannon Howard, aunt Anna Gambone and many cousins.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 10 a.m. to noon. Funeral services and interment will begin at 2:15 p.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
