DINO J. DESTEFANO, age 55 of Canton, transitioned into the arms of God on April 7, 2015. A beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. Because of Dino's gentle heart and accepting nature, he was beloved by all who knew him. It was apparent through his cheerful smile and hearty laughter that one of his greatest joys was being with his family and playing with his nieces and nephews. Dino graduated from McKinley High School. While attending there, he found a love and talent for woodworking and enjoyed employment in the construction industry for several years. Dino is preceded in death by his father, John Sr., sister, Stephanie (Destefano) Miller, and soul mate, Christine Procario. He is survived by his mother, Mary (Costello) Destefano and siblings John Jr. (Mary) Destefano, Nick (Debbie) Destefano, Steve (Maria) Destefano, Annette Destefano, Dina (Robert) Sprague, George (Averie) Destefano; and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends will be received Friday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at Christ the Servant Catholic Church, with Rev. Thomas Cebula as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Costello and Mattes families for all of their love and support.
