DONALD D. KENNEDY, age 80 of Canton, passed away Friday evening at home after an extended battle with cancer. Born in Canton to the late Donald K. and Margaret Kennedy he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth (Guzzo) Kennedy. Don was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church. He retried from the Hoover Company and later from North Canton Schools System. He is survived by his children; Scott and Kendra with whom he lived, Bob and Terri, Frank and Jean, Don and Teresa Kennedy, Cheryl and Melvin Howard, 20 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson and sister Mareth (Paul) Longwell. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Tom Bishop, celebrant. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Scott would like to extend a special thanks to his wife Kendra, daughter and fiancee' Kara and Brandon, Clearpath Hospice nurse Elisa and aid Christina for all their loving care.
