Donald F. Davis, age 86 of Canton, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017. He was born in Smithville, Ohio on June 13, 1931 to the late Arthur and Dora (Blaugh) Davis. Donald was employed by the RB&W Corporation, where he worked as a machinist for 24 years. He was a member of Fairhope United Methodist Church, and was an avid square dancer. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Lydia Davis, one sister and two brothers. Donald is survived by his wife June Davis; children Lorie (Neal) Stuver and Richard (Sue) Davis, both of Kent; stepchildren Rose (Stephen) Hess of Massillon, and Martin (Yun Suk) Baroni of Canton; brother Clarence Miller of Orrville. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received Thursday at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 10 to 11 a.m., with services beginning at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Joe Wright officiating. Interment will follow at Standing Rock Cemetery in Kent.
