DONALD A. FARELLI, age 73 of Massillon, passed away Sunday evening after an extended illness. Born in Canton to the late Louis and Enrichetta (Boccuti) Farelli, he was preceded in death by his brothers Mark, Louis, Joseph and Vincent Farelli. A 1959 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, Don was an Army veteran. He was a member of. St. Mary Catholic Church of Massillon, a 4 ^th Degree Knight of the Massillon K of C Council 554, St. Anthony's Golf League and the Wednesday golf league at Tam-O-Shanter. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed cooking for all of them. He was affectionately known as "Uncle Donnie". Don retired from the Timken Company in 1998 after 39 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Anita (Pucci) Farelli, sons Michael Farelli, Anthony (Holly) Farelli, grandchildren Luke and Rebecca, sisters Rosemary Powley, Eve (Dr. Alan Fishburg), sisters-in-law Greta Farelli, Lucille Farelli, numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 5 to 8 pm at the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church of Massillon. Inurnment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The funeral procession will form at church on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Don's name may be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation, 3520 Lake Avenue, Suite 202, Wilmette, IL 60091.
