Dorothy J. Guidone, age 88 of Canton, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024. She was born in Canton on September 1, 1936 to the late Howard and Mary (Phillips) Davis. A graduate of Timken Vocational High School, she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Dorothy enjoyed playing bingo and crocheting in her spare time.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert, Jim, Richard, Ronald, Donald, and Ken Davis; and sister Margaret Jury. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 69 years Gene Guidone; children Diana (Joe) Monnot, Mike (Patty) Guidone, and Gene Vince Guidone; grandchildren Mario Guidone, Stephanie Guidone, Tony Guidone, Brittney Guidone, Joe (Brooke) Monnot, and Gina (fiance Kevin Burkhart) Monnot; great-grandchildren Gianna, Ariana, and Joe III; and brothers Harold Davis and John Davis of Canton.

There will be no funeral services at this time. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Bethany Nursing Home, especially Nancy Parks and Piper Crozier for their loving care. Memorial donations, in Dorothy's name, may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church.
