Edward C. "Chuckie" Gardener, age 74 of Canton, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. He was born in Canton on March 1, 1950 to the late George and Roberta (Broy) Gardner. Chuckie graduated from Canton McKinley High School, and later retired from the City of Canton after 40 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and loved spending his free time bowling.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dianna Gardener; children Candice Cunningham and Brian Gardener; grandson Donald Fowler; and brothers Bobby and Reggie Gardener. Chuckie is survived by his children Roberta Rogers, Tiffany Gardener, Ashley (Matt) Fowler, and Edward C. (Sarah) Gardener II; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and siblings Alvin, Yvetta, and Delores.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2025 from 5 to 5:45 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 6 p.m with Pastor Diane Mabry officiating.
