Obituary

Edward W. Czech, 87, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center, surrounded by members of his family. He will be sorely missed by all of his family, especially his wife, Marguerite and son, Edward S. He was born on Feb. 19, 1928 in Canton, Ohio, growing up in the East Canton area. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite (DiGiantonio) and son, Edward S. Two sisters-in-law, Micki Czech and Laura Czech and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Christopher, his Father and Mother, Joseph and Mary Czech, brothers Joseph, Stanley and Walter and sisters Bertha Monnot, Veronica Zwick, Stella O'Hara and Mary Bundy. Ed retired from Ford Motor Company after 28 years of service. He served in the United States Army, stationed in Germany during World War II serving in the Medical Corps. Ed was an active sportsman and was a life member of the NRA and Stark County Gun Collectors. During his lifetime, Ed always made sure he visited various friends and family and those in need who were hospitalized and in nursing homes. He will be missed as so many of his friends looked forward to his visits. Funeral Services will be at Rossi Funeral Home on Friday, June 5, 2015 with Fr. Tom

Kraszewski officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m. To 11 a.m. when services begin. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
