Edward J. "Fast Eddie" Pellegrene age 73 of Canton, passed away on January 28, 2018, at St. Luke's Home, surrounded by his family, following a brief illness. Born July 1, 1944 to the late Samuel and Jessie (Notturno) Pellegrene. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School class of '62. He was in auto sales most of his life, retiring from Downtown Ford. He was a member of American Legion Post #44, VFW and Eagles of Canton. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherri, children Trish and Todd Erickson and very special beloved grandson Toddie. He is also survived by three brothers, John (Connie) Pellegrene of Minneapolis, MN, James Pellegrene of Canton and David (Cindy) Pellegrene of Massillon, one niece, numerous nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, family and friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by sister-in-law Sue Pellegrene and nephew, Dino Pellegrene. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and love of life. Family and friends will be received on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church with a Memorial Mass to follow at 10:30, Rev. Fr. G. David Weikart celebrant.
