Eleanor J. (Labriola) Digianantonio age 92 of Canton, passed away Tuesday. Born in Salem, OH to the late Adam and Esther (Ghuzzo) Labriola, she was preceded in death by her husband Andrew, daughter Mary Lou, step-mother Amelia (Mercorelli) Labriola and sister Betty Kissinger. She was a graduate of Salem High School and a founding member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Eleanor sang in the Women's Choir, was a member of the Holy Tearers and Sociable Seniors at St. Michael's. She was also member of the Mother of Twins Club and a volunteer at Timken Mercy Hospital for over 30 years. She is survived by her children; Diane Simone, Dan (Dianne), James (Theresa), Andrew Jr. (Beth), Alan (Barbara) Digianantonio, 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, sister RoseAnn Rickman, sister-in-law Ann Digiantonio, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Thursday (Tonight) from 6 to 9 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home and Friday morning from 9 to 10 am at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am with Rev. Fr. Don King celebrant. Internment will be in Calvary Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Eleanor's name may be made to St. Michael Scholarship Fund or Mercy Hospice. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the 4 ^th floor nursing staff of Mercy Medical Center.
