Elisa Bagnolo, age 87 passed away April 12, 2016 in West Palm Beach, Florida after an extended illness surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fossalto, Italy and immigrated to the United States making Canton her home in 1957. She was one of three children born to Nicola and Concetta Iorio. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Nicola Bagnolo in 2011, with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage. She is survived by her three loving children and their spouses; Anna and Greg Gibson, Pierina and George Rich, and Nick and Shari Bagnolo. Elisa will forever be remembered by her treasured grandchildren, Kevin (Sheri) Cuenot, Brian (Tara) Cuenot, Tiffany Rich, Steffany (Justin) Morton, Anastacia Bagnolo, and Nicholas Bagnolo and great-grandchildren, Matthew Cuenot, Sophia Cuenot, Olivia Cuenot, Samantha Cuenot, and Skylar Cuenot. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was devoted to her family and will be deeply missed. She made Canton her home since 1957 but spent the last 23 years splitting time between Canton and sunny West Palm Beach Florida. She had family and many friends in both locations. She was affectionately known as Nonna by her grandchildren and GG by her great-grandchildren. Elisa was a homemaker, fantastic cook, avid gardener, and enjoyed crochet and knitting. She played Bocce regularly having won many tournaments and enjoyed playing cards. She was very active in the Italian American Community and a member of the United Fossaltese Club and Sons of Italy Lodge. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and attended Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, Florida. The family wishes to send a very special thank you to Tony, Diana, and staff at "New Age of Senior Care at Wellington" for their endless attention to our mother during her stay there. We were blessed to have Mom in their care. We would also like to thank TrustBridge Hospice for their gentle care and support during our time of need. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday April 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at Little Flower Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Father Leo J. Wehrlin. Entombment will be at North Lawn Cemetery. Calling Hours will be at Rossi Funeral Home from 5 to 8pm on Thursday April 21, 2016.
