Elizabeth (Betty) A. Ross, age 82, of Canton, passed away on January 10, 2021. Betty was born on May 6, 1938 in Massillon, Ohio to Richard and Elizabeth (Tourani) Domonkas. Betty grew up in Barberton and eventually moved to Canton to raise her family with her husband, Jim. Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her family, playing tennis with friends, and gardening. She was also a member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church. Betty is survived by her husband, James M. Ross, children, James R. (Maryann) Ross, Michael (Mary) Ross, Ann Marie Ross, grandson, Christopher Clapper, three siblings. Richard (Kathy) Domonkas, John (Connie) Domonkas, and Roberta (Curt) Rossio, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the Sisters and staff at the House of Loreto. The care and compassion were incredible. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the House of Loreto. Friends and family may come to call on Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Services will follow at 12:00 noon with Rev. Fr. Nicholas Mancini officiating. Entombment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Massillon.
