Ellen L. (Johnson) Perez, 88, of Canton, passed away Tuesday afternoon. Born in Noble County to the late Franklin and Fontella (Weber) Johnson, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert, infant daughter Kathy, and brother Ted Johnson. Ellen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her sons Scott of Durango, CO, Mark (Jennifer) of Navarre, Rick (Kathi) of Louisville, Kim (Sharon) Perez of Canton, eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Rossi Family Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Rossi on Monday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canton Ex-Newsboys Association. Special thanks to the staff of Bethany Nursing Home.
