Elvera L. (Genetin) Miller, age 90 of Canton, passed away peacefully at home early Friday morning. Born in Amsterdam, OH to the late Leonard and Lydia (Dalpra) Genetin, she was preceded in death by her husband Francis "Frank" Miller, daughter-in-law Rene Christ Miller, brothers Herman, Leonard, and Donald Genetin, sisters Maria Genetin and Rita Waggnor. Elvera was a graduate of Amsterdam High School and an avid polka dancer. She is survived by her sons Gary (Danette Lepore) Miller, David Miller; grandson Michael Miller; brother Arthur Genetin; sisters Nora Bake, Norma Sedlock, and Linda (Angel) Martinez. Family and friends are welcome to attend the graveside services at 11 a.m. in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Association. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Aultman Hospice and Palliative Care, as well as to Dr. Eric X. Wang for his compassionate care.
