Emerson Ralph Plott, Jr., age 75 passed away Sunday at Addington Place in Farmington

Hills, MI. Ralph was born in Canton on October 6,1945 to the late Emerson Ralph and Mary Jane Plott. He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus St. Michael the Archangel Council 15458. Ralph graduated from Canton Lincoln High School then went onto Western Reserve University. He was a former employee at the Canton Repository and the Massillon Independent in the Marketing and Advertising Department. Ralph then became the Executive Director of the Building Industry Association of Stark County. He was also employed by Covey and Koons Advertising. Ralph was and avid sports fan who also enjoyed family activities and working in his yard.

In addition to his parents Ralph was preceded in death by his son Emerson Ralph III; two brothers Mark and Lewis and one sister Virginia Plott. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Lenora (Piccolantonio) Plott of the home; daughter Melissa (Rob) Francis of Farmington,MI; two brothers Fred (Maureen) Bausher and Dan (Julie) Plott. Four grandchildren Kayleigh, Maddy, and Henry Francis and Kelli Parks. Friends and family will be received Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be Monday morning, 10 am, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with Rev Fr. Benson Okpara as Celebrant. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. The funeral mass will be live-streamed at www.stmichaelcanton.org/funeralservices. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, or to the Central Catholic High School Ralph Plott III Scholarship Fund.
