Emma Mae Bongini (Dietz), age 91 of Massillon, passed away early Thursday morning. Born in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Charles and Helen Scott, she was preceded in death by her first husband Raymond C. Bongini Sr., and second husband Finley L. Dietz, one sister and five brothers. Emma waitressed for 44 years, first at Walther's Cafe and then at Kozy Kitchen. She is survived by her four children, who were blessed to have her for their mother; Claudia (John) Smith of Massillon, Mary Burch of North Canton, Raymond C. Bongini, Jr. of Massillon, Anna Armstrong of Georgia, eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be on Monday at 10:00 am in Sunset Hills Burial Park chapel with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Jackson Ridge Rehabilitation Center for all their loving care.
