Erhard F. Liedtke, age 80 of Canton, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017. He was born in Tapiau, Germany on January 12, 1937 to the late Willi and Frieda (Wunderlich) Liedtke. Erhard ("Eric") emigrated to Bryan, Ohio with his family in 1957, and later settled in Canton. He loved selling and was employed in auto and RV sales for most of his career. He was a member of the German American Club in Louisville where he served for many years. He also enjoyed singing with the Arion Singing Society. He loved watching sports, was a good cook and enjoyed having a meal with family and friends. Erhard is survived by his wife Antoinetta (Rainieri); children Michael (Joelle) Liedtke of Kent, and David (Cathy) Liedtke of Stryker; sister Heidi (Phil) Maxey of Vonore, Tennessee; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A private family service will take place. Entombment will be in North Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
