Ernestina "Tina" McGowan (Procario).

Tina passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on June 8, 2022, after a long hard-fought battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was born December 3, 1954 in Canton, Ohio to the late Ermanno and Mary Procario.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David McGowan and her sister Deborah Sills.

Tina leaves behind her children Steve (Angel) Leary, Theresa (John) Berring, Joe (Stacey) Leary, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister Sandra Procario, brothers Dominic (Debbie) Procario, Dino (Mary) Procario, brother-in-law Gary Sills, nieces and nephews.

Tina worked at Wonder Bread Hostess Cake for 28 years, starting out as a clerk and working her way up to receiving then to manager of the retail outlet.

She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, gardening, and spending time with her family and golden retrievers.

She will join her beloved dogs in heaven; her golden retrievers, Molly, Maxx, and Shiloh and her dog Reba.  She leaves behind her one golden retriever, Cooper, for her grandchildren to take care of.

Tina will be missed by all. She was a wonderful person who will be in our hearts and minds forever.

A special thank you to Doctor Joseph Parambil of Cleveland Clinic and all the doctors, nurses, and staff that took care of her during this difficult time.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday at St. Louis Parish in Louisville at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery.
