Eugene J. Manzella, age 72 of Canton, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024. He was born in Canton on February 14, 1952 to the late Eugene and Joan (Contini) Manzella. A 1970 St. Thomas Aquinas High School graduate, he played baseball, fumbleball and softball for many years throughout the Canton area. He was an avid McKinley Bulldogs, Browns, Indians, Ohio State, and Lakers fan his entire life. Eugene retired in 2018 from the U.S. Postal Service, where he worked as a mail handler for 34 years.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters Tracy (Gene) Colina and Mary Jo Sirpilla; and his dogs Rocky and Sunshine. Survived by sister Connie (Frank) Kemp; nephews Tony (Amy) Sirpilla and Frank Kemp, Jr. (Deb); nieces Anne (John) Crowley, Kristin Cannell, and Cory Colina.

Family and friends will be received at the Rossi Family Funeral Home on Monday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Christ the Servant Catholic Parish. Interment in Forest Hill Cemetery.
