Eugene Fasano Petrilli, age 82 of Canton passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born in Canton on February 9, 1942 to the late Giuseppe and Nellie (Paone) Petrilli. He was a graduate of Timken High School, and later retired from Stark Regional Community Correction Center, where he worked as a counselor. Eugene was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish at St. Anthony Campus; he loved to hunt, fish, cook and spend time with family and friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Fred Petrilli and sister Anita Sylvester. Gene is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Petrilli; daughters Paula (Brian) Lind, and Michelle (Paul) Roadpouch; grandchildren Lindsey, Madison, Leah, Sophia, Logan, and Jack. Also survived by brother Joe (Mary Jo) Petrilli.
