Evelyn G. (D'Aurora) Jacobs, age 88 of Canton, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022. Born in Canton to the late Joseph and Mary (Lupe) D'Aurora, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward Jacobs, sisters Nicolene Pinciaro, Josephine Snyder, and Margaret Tiberio. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish and a graduate of McKinley High School. She worked as a secretary at Edward Jacobs Insurance Agency for many years. She loved her family, family gatherings, cooking for everyone, and was an avid reader. Evelyn is survived by her children Lori (Ray) Johnson, Lynne Kotte, Edward Joseph Jacobs, grandchildren Mia (Brian) Pukansky, Kyle Kotte, Kara (Judd) Bernardo, Raymond Jacob Johnson, great grandchildren Ava Pukansky, Jude Bernardo, sister Rose Mosnot and numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, 11:00 am, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Parish, with Rev. Fr. Benson Okpara celebrant. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted.
