Evelyn M. Pantelas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 8, 2022. She was born and raised in Canton, Ohio to Athanas and Paraskeve (Kosmidou) Michailides and graduated from McKinley High School. Evelyn worked as a clerk in the payroll office at Aultman Hospital before marrying her loving husband of 57 years, George who preceded her in death in 2016. She was a loving, devoted, wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and volunteered as Treasurer of St. Joseph Riverside Hospital's Women's Auxiliary and Trumbull Art Gallery in Warren. Evelyn and George enjoyed traveling with friends to New York, Chicago and Geenbrier, West Virginia. She will be remembered for a gift of style and kindness and warmth that drew people to enjoy her company. She is survived by her daughter Melanie, son Dr. Gust (Carmen) Pantelas, sister Thespina Michailides, and grandchildren Ari, Alex, and Cassandra Pantelas, sisters-in-law Jenny (Pete)Samonides of Toledo, OH, Nell Kosmides of San Francisco, CA, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Brother Dr. John Michailides and Brother in law James (MaryAnn) Pantelas. A private service will be held with burial at Forest Hill Cemetery.
