Evelyn J. (Potento) Guzzo age 69 of Canton, passed away Thursday at home. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a 1969 graduate of Timken Vocational High School. Evelyn was a member of St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish. She was preceded in death by her father Anthony J. Potento, Sr, and brother Anthony J. Potento, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 46 years Charles M. Guzzo, mother Mary Loretta Potento, sister Jean (Frank) Kennedy, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the Rossi Family Funeral Home. Masks are mandatory and social distancing will be observed. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, 11:00 am, at St. Anthony/All Saints Catholic Parish with Rev. Fr. Tom Kraszewski celebrant. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. The funeral procession will form at church Monday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
