Everett C. Ratliff, age 90 of Canton, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2018. He was born in Wayland, Kentucky on December 29, 1927 to the late Harry and Elizabeth Ratliff. Everett was a U.S. Army Veteran, and later was employed by Republic Steel for 32 years. He loved to hunt and was a big fan of the University of Kentucky. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Oria Lee Ratliff; brother Harry, Jr.; and one infant sister. Everett is survived by his children Calvin (Jalonda) Ratliff of North Canton and Ron (Vicky) Ratliff of Canton; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Harvey (Wanda) Ratliff of Paintsville, Kentucky. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 5 ^th at the Rossi Family Funeral Home from 10:30 to 12:15 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment to follow in Sunset Hills Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care.
