Filomena M. Aliberti, age 90 of Canton, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018. She was born in Villa Santangelo, Italy on August 31, 1927 to the late Joseph and Domenica Mimosa. Filomena was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, and loved to crochet and cook. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, Corrado; daughter Vera Jordan; and son-in-law Michael Jordan. Filomena is survived by her two sons Andy (Lori) Aliberti and Dino Aliberti; seven grandchildren Leslie (Mickey) Moore, Brian Jordan, and Dino, Tony, Alexis and Adriana Aliberti. Also survived by one great-grandson Lucas Moore; and two sisters Italia DeMattis and Alderina Nardis. Family and friends will be received at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church on Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. in the church, with Rev. Fr. Scott Kopp as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
